These Garage & Workshop Host Terms (“Host Terms”) apply to all workshop owners, garages, premises operators, or businesses (“Hosts”) listing or providing workshop access through Ramplink.

By using Ramplink as a Host, you agree to these Terms in addition to the Platform Terms & Conditions.


1. HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

Hosts are solely responsible for:

  • ensuring workshop premises are safe;
  • maintaining all required licences and permissions;
  • ensuring ramps, lifts, tools, electrical systems, and equipment are properly maintained;
  • ensuring adequate health & safety measures are in place;
  • maintaining valid insurance coverage;
  • controlling and supervising access to premises where necessary.

Ramplink does not inspect, certify, or guarantee any premises or equipment listed on the Platform.


2. EQUIPMENT & FACILITY USE

Hosts acknowledge that:

  • mechanics and users operate independently;
  • Ramplink does not supervise users;
  • Ramplink is not liable for misuse of equipment or premises.

Hosts remain fully responsible for:

  • site security;
  • workshop conditions;
  • fire safety;
  • compliance with workplace regulations;
  • and ensuring facilities are suitable for use.

3. HOST LIABILITY

Hosts accept full responsibility for:

  • injuries occurring on their premises where caused by unsafe conditions;
  • faulty or poorly maintained equipment;
  • breaches of health & safety obligations;
  • failure to maintain required insurance.

Ramplink accepts no liability for:

  • property damage;
  • injuries;
  • theft;
  • vehicle damage;
  • business interruption;
  • disputes between Hosts and mechanics/users.

4. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Hosts agree that:

  • Ramplink may process payments through third-party providers including Stripe;
  • Ramplink deducts a platform fee of 12.5% from Host payouts;
  • third-party payment processing fees may also apply.

Stripe or payment processor fees are non-refundable, including in cases involving:

  • cancellations;
  • disputes;
  • chargebacks;
  • or refunds.

Hosts acknowledge that payout amounts may therefore differ from booking totals.

Ramplink reserves the right to:

  • delay payouts;
  • withhold funds;
  • investigate disputes;
  • reverse transactions where fraud or abuse is suspected.

5. DAMAGE & LOSS

Hosts acknowledge that allowing third parties access to workshops carries inherent risk.

Ramplink shall not be liable for:

  • damage to ramps;
  • damage to tools;
  • damage to premises;
  • theft;
  • fire;
  • user negligence;
  • accidental damage caused by mechanics or users.

Hosts are responsible for pursuing claims directly against the relevant user where applicable.


6. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Hosts must maintain appropriate insurance including where applicable:

  • public liability insurance;
  • motor trade insurance;
  • premises insurance;
  • employer liability insurance;
  • equipment insurance.

Ramplink may request proof of insurance at any time.

Failure to maintain adequate insurance may result in account suspension or removal.


7. USER DISPUTES

Ramplink is not responsible for resolving disputes between Hosts and users.

Hosts acknowledge that:

  • Ramplink is not a contractor;
  • Ramplink is not the employer of mechanics/users;
  • Ramplink does not guarantee user conduct or competence.

8. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

Ramplink reserves the right to suspend or terminate Host accounts where:

  • safety concerns arise;
  • repeated complaints occur;
  • fraud or abuse is suspected;
  • insurance requirements are not met;
  • these Terms are breached.
